Bruxelles The Gathering

Recap of an amazing trip, this time to the heart of Europe: Brussels, Belgium. This city is truly a gem, offering incredible architecture, delicious food, and of course, some fantastic gaming opportunities! Beyond the stunning Grand Place and its dazzling guildhalls, we managed to fit in some serious sightseeing. We sampled some of the world’s best Belgian chocolate and, naturally, enjoyed a few crisp Belgian beers. The atmosphere in the city is just electric, especially with the holiday lights starting to go up. But let’s get to the main event for the gamers out there! No trip is complete without finding a local game store, and this time, the pilgrimage led us to Outpost Brussels. What an incredible place—the energy was high, and the staff were super welcoming. I was thrilled to meet up with some awesome players for a few rounds of Magic: The Gathering. A huge shoutout to Tony Stone and the entire Grotto Team for hosting some unforgettable matches. Whether it was a fast-paced Modern game or a complex Commander setup, the company was top-notch, and the games were competitive and fun! It’s always special to connect with the global MTG community, and Outpost truly felt like a home away from home.
